Frequently Asked Questions

Do you ever work in my home or office without me?

Not in the first session. It's important that we work with the client so that they are the ones making the crucial decisions and experiencing the satisfaction that comes when the job of decluttering is completed. After that portion, it is possible to shop, install and style while the client is gone, leaving them to come back to a fully organized space.

I'm a bit embarrassed of my space, should I try tidying up before you get there?

No. It's best to leave every space as-is so that we can assess every situation uniquely to get the best possible outcome. Also, we've seen lots of unorganized areas, we don't judge!

How long will a session take?

The amount of time a project takes depends on three things. The size of the space, the amount of clutter within that space, and most importantly, how quickly you make decisions. We like doing projects in sessions--creating a personalized schedule per client--because we find that after a possibly enthusiastic or emotional 4 or so hours, focus begins to turn into fatigue and nobody wants that.

What time of day is best to do this?

We find that the morning and early afternoon is the best time to de-clutter because the mind is clearer and fresher. Attempting to organize after a full day at work can be exhausting.

Is this a one time thing, or will you need to come back in a month?

We do our best to educate our clients and set systems in place so that keeping an area neat and organized will become second nature. As much as we'd love to have your business every few weeks, the goal is to help you learn how to manage your home or office without us there, giving you confidence and freedom from clutter and unwanted items.

I want to refer a friend. How can I do this?

We love friends! Just have them email us (and give us your name), and you'll automatically get 15% off any future service. Hooray!
